Duquesne provides ninth new face, former Miami (Ohio) guard Dae Dae Grant

Duquesne males’s basketball coach Keith Dambrot continues so as to add to his roster, securing a verbal dedication Monday from Dae Dae Grant, a 6-foot-2 guard who led Miami (Ohio) in scoring final season. Grant is the ninth participant to hitch the Dukes this offseason.

Grant scored 775 factors final season, tenth all-time at Miami for a single season. He averaged 17.5 factors, 4.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists per sport. With two seasons of eligibility remaining, he leaves the RedHawks with 1,156 profession factors.

Grant will be a part of eight different first-time Dukes this season, together with guards Tevin Brewer (a switch from FIU), Butler Excessive Faculty’s Devin Carney, Tre Clark III (previously of Northwest Florida State Faculty), Quincy McGriff (Salt Lake Group Faculty) and Kareem Rozier (Orchard Lake St. Mary’s in Detroit). Additionally becoming a member of the staff this season are frontcourt gamers Abdou-Halil Barre (Scotland, Pa., Campus), David Dixon (Speights, Fla., Academy) and Matus Hronsky of Slovakia.
